NY Comic Does Ali Wong Parody
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they say. Is it? New York comedian Joon Chung says his love for Ali Wong inspired this parody of what Wong’s third Netflix special could look like. Born and raised in Staten Island, Joon is a writer, a creative producer at Fusion, and a stand up comedian.
No idea yet what Wong herself thinks about Joon’s impression, but hey, what woman wouldn’t feel flattered by this?
Joon Chung isn’t the only one imitating Ali. For at least the third year running, the Ali Wong costume was a big hit at Halloween this year, with her distinctive style and bold glasses. Wong does appreciate imitation, she retweeted some of the best of the best Ali Wong costumes this year. And they were all dancing. Here’s a look at some more flattering imitation.
