“Nobodies” Returns With More Melissa McCarthy, Plus Kristin Wiig and Michael McDonald

If you didn’t catch season one of Nobodies then you missed Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s hilarious show about three Groundlings grads (Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf, Rachel Ramras) trying to make a go of things in Hollywood. They’ve got talent, and even a few solid connections thanks to their fellow alums, but that’s simply not enough when you’re nobody. In the first season, we watched our three desperate series co-stars make some really fucked up moves to make it in the business. Anytime they got close to success, it all fell apart.

The series is back for season two, and if the trailer is any indication, they’re going to fuck things up all over again. It’s a little bit “Episodes” but with far less integrity on the part of the writers who form the center of the series.

In season two, Kristin Wiig is on board, series producers Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are still in the storyline, and Michael McDonald is back as the worlds worst therapist. Other guest stars this season include Cheryl Hines, Fortune Feimster, Cedric the Entertainer, Mary McCormack, and Edi Patterson.

The 12 episode season kicks off Thursday March 29th at 10pm on Paramount Network (previously SPIKE).
