No, That’s Not Tig Notaro You’re Talking To On Twitter
Tig Notaro stopped by to talk with Conan about her new special last night, and Conan had a bone to pick with her. During a prior appearance, Tig said she would never ever be on Twitter, and Conan feels deceived because there is now a verified @TigNotaro on Twitter. Tig maintains that she has never been on Twitter, doesn’t have the password to the account and has never ‘tweeted.’ She said that Funny or Die set up the account, and that anything that happens on it, is done without her involvement. Funny or Die runs the account, and different people, like Sarah Silverman, have guest tweeted. Yesterday Conan and Andy Richter took turns as Tig, and today you can check out Questlove sharing some Twitter love via the Tig account.
“I feel like people overuse it steal jokes,” Tig said, and Conan agreed referencing the recent Fat Jewish controversy without mentioning names specifically.
Tig also told a VERY FUNNY story about a road trip and her friends great great great great great grandmother. Don’t watch the clip unless you plan to laugh. Tig will find out and she will be pissed.
