Nikki Glaser is launching her very first Netflix Special, “Nikki Glaser: Bangin’” on October 1st and the trailer dropped today. It looks amazing.
The hour follows up her half hour that was a part of Season 1 of Netflix’s The Stand Ups. Her 2016 hour special, “Perfect” aired on Comedy Central in 2016. She’s also released a half hour special with Comedy Central as part of their “The Half Hour” series.
In “Nikki Glaser: Bangin” Nikki keeps the audience at the edge of their seat as she delves into taboo topics like sex and… sex. The gloves are off as she pushes back at the unreal sexual expectations women face with her hilarious, no-holds-barred style.
Talk about ready to break out- Nikki Glaser is the next comedian who is going next level. She is so ready for this, and let’s be honest, Nikki has been ready to go mainstream since 2013. But now all the ducks that have to get in line are standing ass to beak for her. She was the stand out performer on the recent Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin, she’s got her own SiriusXM daily morning show on Comedy Central Radio, and on stage she absolutely murders. Not Safe with Nikki Glaser, which aired on Comedy Central was amazing too, by the way and shame on everyone who let that show slip away. Maybe it was a head of its time.
She also just taped another short special for Netflix as part of their The Degenerates Season 2, which I think drops on New Years Eve this year.
In a year when the power of women and sexuality have been in conflict, Nikki comes bursting through to make it clear both can coexist.
