Night Of Too Many Stars Announces Even More Stars


“Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together For Autism Programs” continues to live up to its name. The benefit show scheduled to air Sunday, March 8th on Comedy Central has added more stars to the line up. Steve Buscemi, Steve Carell, Gilbert Gottfried, Maya Rudolph, and Sarah Silverman have all been added to the fundraising event hosted and produced again this year by the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart. These names are being added to the previous announced list of performers including Bill Burr, Louis C.K., John Oliver, Paul Rudd and Amy Schumer.
Other new names have also been announced to help man the live March 8th celebrity phone bank to take pledges for the event which raises money for Autism charities around the country including New York Collaborates for Autism. Fred Armisen, Andy Cohen, Ilana Glazer, Abbi Jacobson, and Susan Sarandon will be taking your calls and donations along with already announced phone bank operators, Larry David, Martin Short and Larry Wilmore from the Nightly Show on Comedy Central.
This year’s “Night of Too Many Stars” will also include an online auction where fans can bid on celebrity experiences, items from the benefit or just donate at CC.com. Some of items being auctioned off include props from the event, autographed collectibles and walk-ons on featured TV shows.
“Night of Too Many Stars” is being taped at the Beacon Theatre on Saturday, February 28th. The celebrity phone bank goes into action live on the night the pre-recorded special airs on Sunday, March 8th on Comedy Central.
