New York Times Gives Some Love to Big Jay Oakerson

Yesterday the New York Times published a story on Big Jay Oakerson, giving him all kinds of love, praising his crowdwork, and calling him a master of the dirty joke.
“[H]e’s skilled at summing up the sex life of random people in the audience with an imagined, evocative detail, whether it be a bag with an uneaten yogurt, a tie worn around the forehead or a Camaro with a dead body in the trunk. He has a wandering mind, but make no mistake: His focus is phallic. If New York had a poet laureate for penis jokes, he would hold the title” said Times writer Jason Zinoman.
Zino man also praised his “sneaky, gentle touch”, “stealth warmth”, and gave him a few other new nicknames. Whether you think of Big Jay as the poet laureate for penis jokes, an old jewish yenta, or a master of crowd work doesn’t matter. What matters is the love.
