New “Last Comic Standing” Judges And Host Announced
NBC is bringing stand-up comedy back to primetime with the return of Last Comic Standing.
The show returns to NBC on May 22nd and the network has announced who will be hosting and who will be judging America’s only network stand up comedy competition.
The judges are some of comedy’s biggest names including Roseanne Barr and Keenen Ivory Wayans, along with international stand up comedy super star Russell Peters. The average American household will finally get to know Peters, who has been one of the biggest draws in stand up comedy worldwide for years.
Also announced was the brand new host for Last Comic Standing, comedian JB Smoove who we know and love from “Curb Your Enthusiam.”
The 13 episode season from executive producer Wanda Sykes, starts May 22nd at 10pm Eastern.
