Netflix Will Open Their “For Your Consideration” Interactive Programming Showcase To the Public This Year

Netflix will once again hold its annual “For Your Consideration” showcase to impress those who are voting on Emmy Eligible programming. Dubbed FYSEE (FYC), the five week exhibition welcomes industry and guild members to mix and mingle with the cast and creators of their favorite Netflix shows leading into the 2018 Emmy® season.  And this year, Netflix said, it will welcome the general public to attend the huge event spread across three sound stages.

The more than 30,000 square foot experience will kick off Sunday, May 6th with a party featuring talent from Netflix’s slate and surprise guests in attendance.

Netflix’s FYSEE is a dynamic, participatory exhibition space that brings the best of Netflix to life during Emmy® season. The experiential space is home to programming designed to connect industry professionals with content, creators and talent in new and unusual ways. Displays and interactive installations,  panels and exhibitions from new and returning Emmy® nominees and winners including The Crown, Stranger Things, Grace and Frankie, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Black Mirror; new favorites such as Glow, Mindhunter, Ozark, Godless; documentary programming that includes Wormwood, Icarus, Strong Island; animated hits BoJack Horseman and Big Mouth;  comedy specials and more will populate the space with thematic panels, additional events and special performances.

New this year is an expansive 300-seat state-of-the art theater built to host screenings and panels, an expanded experiential floor that will accommodate more than 500 guests, and immersive activations from Emmy®-nominated programs including The Crown, Stranger Things, Black Mirror, Orange is the New Black, Grace and Frankie and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, along with new series GLOW, Godless, Ozark, MINDHUNTER and many more.

Attendees will also enjoy diverse one-of-a-kind conversations with top creatives including “Rebels and Rulebreakers,” the female-led event showcasing the leading ladies of various shows, “Scene Stealers,” featuring stars who delivered this year’s most critically-acclaimed performances among others.

This year its not just for industry, fans will also have the unique opportunity to enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience, interacting with their favorite programs in exciting new ways. More details to be announced in the coming weeks.

It all kicks off May 6 with a big party. Featured events each night include David Letterman’s new series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Monday May 7, Dear White People on Wednesday May 9, GLOW on Wednesday May 30 and comedy series Grace & Frankie and One Day at a Time being featured on Saturday June 2nd.
