NBC Cancels Two New Comedies

If you’ve become a fan, enjoy these NBC sitcoms while they last because they’re not coming back. The network cancelled both A To Z and Bad Judge. However, both shows will finish production on their 13 episode orders and all will air according to the Hollywood Reporter. Both comedies were part of NBC’s new Thursday night lineup.
A To Z followed a couple that just started dating and their relationship story was being told by narrator Katey Sagal from start to finish. Bad Judge starred Kate Walsh as a sexually reckless judge who parties too much until she takes custody of young boy whose parents she sent to prison. NBC was getting complaints about Bad Judge from the Florida Association for Women Lawyers saying it was offensive to women who work in the courtroom. Ratings wise, it was only offensive to people who enjoy comedy on Thursday nights.
