Nashville Comedy Festival Bringing Jay Leno To the Opry House

A year ago the Nashville Comedy Festival emerged as a rebrand. Formerly known as the Wild Wild West Comedy Festival, the long time favorite festival produced by Vince Vaughn’s production company booked a killer line up this year, showing sings that Vaughn and company are looking to become contenders as one of the top festivals in North America.

The 2019 Nashville Comedy Festival is promising to blow the roof off the Opry House with a “once-in-a-lifetime” event pairing one of the most successful stand up comedians in America with a legend in the business- a man who rarely takes the stage now, but is considered one of the all time greatest to perform stand up- Jay Leno. The festival lineup doesn’t specify what the duo will be doing on stage- we’ll keep you posted.

That event would be reason enough to head to Nashville, but before that event takes place, the fest has an incredible slate of comics lined up. Sebastian Maniscalco is performing two shows at the Polk Theater, Nate Bargatze will also be at the Polk, Ali Wong, Jim Jefferies and Tom Segura will each headline the Ryman Auditorium, Rhett & Link will be there too, and Nashville’s Zanies will house performances by Janeane Garofalo, Doug Benson’s Doug Loves Movies, and Rita Rudner.

The 2019 NASHVILLE Comedy Festival makes its return the week of April 8 through 14.

Tickets are on sale now at www.nashcomedyfest.com. Many more to be announced.
