@Midnight Has It’s First Night in New York

Chris Hardwick brought his LA-based game show to New York City last night for its first of four episodes that will be filmed during the New York Comedy Festival.  Monday’s show featured three great comedians– Nikki Glaser, World Champion Judah Friedlander and John Mulaney and two special guests.  John Hamm in person, and The Iron Sheik via video.

The audience was excited to have the show in town, and all three comedians were ready to win this thing, but unfortunately, as with most games, only one can rightfully be called the champion.  John Mulaney was the first to be taken out, which made host Chris Hardwick sad.  Mulaney consoled Hardwick by saying, that while @midnight might be the first to eliminate him from Fall TV, they probably won’t be the last.

In a shocking turn of events, Nikki Glaser took the title.  It’s not that we don’t think she deserved the win it’s just that we can’t bear to think of Judah coming in second.
