The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail Back For More Meltdowns On Comedy Central
Comedy Central is doing a second season of “The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail”. The stand up comedy series features comics performing at the Nerdist Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles. The show shot at the funniest comic book store in the country is hosted by Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani. The show also features the comedians hanging backstage along with the other very funny people who just stop by to visit the Meltdown green room.
The first season of “The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail” hosted comedians like Steve Agee, Eric Andre, Maria Bamford, Michael Ian Black, Neal Brennan, Jim Gaffigan, Chris Hardwick, Rob Huebel, Moshe Kasher, David Koechner, Tom Lennon, Garfunkel and Oates, Nick Offerman, Marc Maron, Paul Sheer, Reggie Watts and Weird Al Yankovic and plenty of others.
Each show has a theme to all the performances. Season 1 featured comedians doing performances about wedding stories, childhood crushes, worst jobs and travel stories among others.
The new season of “The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail” is expected to premiere this year on Comedy Central.
