Friday night during an appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Seth Rogen told a story about Paul Ryan asking him for a photo. Rogen turned him down in front of his kids, and Megyn Kelly is really upset.
Kelly blasted Rogen for behavior that amounted to shaming kids in front of their dad. “He lectured the kids on how bad their dad was in front of their dad!” she said. “That to me, is so wrong! He shamed them because of who their dad is.” Kelly added that Paul Ryan has not done anything.
The story she was reacting to came out on Friday when Rogen was a guest on Late Night. Rogen told Colbert that he found himself in a “bit of a pickle” when two young teenage white fans approached him and asked for a photo and then said their dad wanted to meet him. Their dad was Paul Ryan. “My whole body puckered. I tensed up,” Rogen told Colbert. “I didn’t know what to do.” Ryan asked for a photo with Seth, and he felt uncomfortable and answered “no way man!” to Ryan. “Furthermore, I hate what you’re doing to the country at the moment and I count the days until you don’t have one iota of the power that you currently have.” The incident happened in front of Ryan’s kids, and Rogen said he felt very conflicted. “It’s not their fault,” he said, “but at the same time, they should probably learn that if they like a movie or song, the person who made that probably doesn’t like their dad that much. Unless they like watching Roseanne reruns.”
