In the UK, you will have to ask the cashier at McDonald’s for a straw and then you’ll be handed a paper straw as part of their attempt to go green. The straws will be made of biodegradable paper and have recycled paper around them. Their burgers have tasted like cardboard for years so this isn’t a stretch.
