Adam McKay will step into Edgar Wright’s boots and direct Ant Man. Marvel is staying with the plan of using a director with a specialty in comedy. Adam McKay has written and directed blockbusters like the Anchorman movies, Talladega Nights and The Other Guys. He also co-founded Funny or Die with Will Ferrell – which could mean we might see Ferrell as an Ant Man villain, possibly Porcupine or Egghead.
