Margaret Cho is Using Comedy to Try to Change the World

She’s got adoptable dogs for her opening act, because she wants to save dogs, and that’s just the beginning. Margaret Cho told Stephen Colbert last night on the Late Show that she wants to change the world and use comedy to do it.

She also said she doesn’t think most people need to worry as much as they do about whether they’re a racist. She said that because Colbert had just delivered a long complicated paragraph about whether we should all just assume we’re being racists even when we’re trying not to be racists, when we talk about other racists because I have presuppositions….etc etc etc.

Cho said that now that white people started worrying about racism, everyone’s walking on eggshells. Cho also performed the song “Lice.” In a surprising move, Colbert didn’t make it a duet.
