The Lonely Island Payed Tribute To Every Will Smith Song
The Lonely Island payed tribute to each Will Smith hit at the MTV Movie Awards, Sunday night. Smith was receiving the MTV Generation award. Lonely Island members Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone performed all the greats. Parents Just Don’t Understand started off the medly, followed by a little Fresh Prince of Bel Aire, Summertime, and of course Getting Jiggy With It it was a great tribute although it did leave us longing for a little Wild Wild West.
Smith was honored by the award, despite calling it the Old Dude award. The Lonely Island Boys have a big movie coming out. Popstar Never Stop Never Stopping, the Lonely Island Boys first movie, is in theaters June 3rd.
