Lewis Black Yells At Random People’s Roommates

Lewis Black stopped by the Late Show last night, and Stephen Colbert asked him how he keeps the rage fresh every day.  Black explained, “I wake up in the morning, I’m severely optimistic more than anybody could imagine. I believe that today is going to be the day that America figures it all out.  I’m convinced of it. We’ve made every mistake humanly possible haven’t we?  So today, just by accident, we might stumble on to the answer.  And then I pick up the paper, and go, Son of a Bitch!”

He also had a gift for Colbert’s fans.  He yelled at their roommates.  For years, we’ve listened to Lewis Black rant about everything from politics to religion and pop culture and we’ve all wished you could muster up the amount of anger and rage that you hear in Black’s voice to direct toward your own problems and irritations.  You can’t.  But on Tuesday night on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Lewis Black screamed at other people’s roommates.  If you want him to yell at your roommate, you’ll have to tweet at the Late Show asking them to bring Lewis back for another round.
