LeBron James Cuts A Promo On Charles Barkley
ESPN’s Dave McMenamin was interviewing Cavs player Tristan Thompson and asked about Charles Barkley’s recent criticisms when LeBron James allegedly decided to jump in and cut a promo on Barkley running him down for all of his own issues.
McMenamin reports that LeBron said “I’m not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, ‘I’m not a role model.’ I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying.” LeBron then went on about how Jordan and Barkley used to joke around in ’93, if Barkley has an issue with his comments he knows where to find LeBron and ended it with “I’m tired of biting my tongue. There’s a new sheriff in town.” Apparently, LeBron is taking this sheriff thing very seriously and already has a plastic badge and costume uniform he’s walking around in.
