Last Comic Standing Cutting Room Floor

The Last Comic Standing season premier was two full hours long, but many of the comedians sets were cut short, or cut from the episode altogether. Some of them have been made available online. Now through the modern miracle of YouTube you can see what jokes didn’t make it to prime time, at least for some of the comedians.
Comedian Tim Northern got a clip on the premier. You might remember him as the guy who was rat poison intolerant. Here’s the rest of his six minute set.
Comedian Gloria Bigelow talked about her white friend who wanted to go “ghetto” by eating crudite on the season premier, but she had a much longer set that didn’t make the final cut. Watch her talking about going to the bank, drinking caramel coffee drinks, and an extended bit about why she hates the word ghetto.
Pat Susmilch had a lot more to say than just talking about women using catheters. In his full set, he talked about balding, how to stop a train, and then yeah, he had a lot more to say about catheters. The judges liked Pat’s set, but Keenan felt that maybe there was a little too much catheter material.
Shakir (Shak not Shaq) Stanley’s opening clip about churros made it on the season premier, but there was much, much more. Watch Shak’s passionate churro set. The judges weighed in on Shak’s love for the churro. The good news is, Keenan compared him to Dave Chappelle. The bad news is, he said nobody’s gonna make the “churro show”.
Bob Kubota did some math jokes, and Keenan loved it, calling him very original and giving him props for talking to the crowd, but Roseanne thought he was holding back a little bit. Russell called him snarky, but in a likeable way.
