Now that both the NBA season and Olympic basketball are over, it’s time to face reality, you will never see the Black Mamba play in an NBA game again. It’s been four months since his last game and on 8/24, Los Angeles will be honoring him with Kobe Bryant day. That day was chosen because it represents both numbers he wore in the NBA, 8 and 24. Don’t worry though, if this season’s playoffs were any indication at all, every 20 second time out going forward will include some kind of Kobe commercial.
