Kristen Wiig Talks About Being Naked On Film


Kristen Wiig’s new film “Welcome To Me” will be released across the country on Friday, May 8th which includes Kristen’s first movie nude scene. She talked about it in an interview with her “Welcome To Me” co-star Tim Robbins along with a photo shoot for VioletGrey.com.
In “Welcome To Me”, Kristen Wiig plays Alice Klieg, a person diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Alice scores big winning the lottery and millions of dollars. She uses the money to buy airtime for her own talk show in order to emulate her hero, Oprah Winfrey.
The comedy-drama features a scene where Kristen Wiig’s character walks through a casino completely naked. Talking about that scene, Kristen told Tim Robbins that it felt like the correct decision. She said, “Being naked in a film or on stage isn’t always supposed to be sexy. It was the part and it felt right, so I did it”. She added, “Of course you’re nervous, and you know people are going to make comments, but if you care about that, your job instantly becomes more difficult. You have to do things for you.”
“Welcome To Me” from producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and starring Kristen Wiig with Tim Robbins, James Marsden, Linda Cardellini, Wes Bentley, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Alan Tudyk and Joan Cusack is in select theaters on Friday, May 1st and expands across the country on Friday, May 8th.
