Kevin Spacey is now the unofficial mascot of the Florida Panthers hockey team. It all started after the team began to hand out blue Kevin Spacey hoodies to players after they’d had a good game, that slowly progressed into the organization selling said Kevin Spacey hoodies to fans for charity, which then culminated in Kevin Spacey – the man, the myth, the legend – showing up for the Panthers game this past weekend. Before you ask it, yes, he was wearing the same hoodie and holding a fake Kevin Spacey mask over his face.
It’s not fair. Florida has the coolest mascot of all time and one of the best teams in the NHL, but still can’t sell out games. When will Miami fans learn?
