Kate Hudson Instagrams Clip From Bill Murray-Mitch Glazer Upcoming Film Rock the Casbah
Rock the Casbah is out in October and we’re excited. Bill Murray and Mitch Glazer working together? If it’s half as good as Scrooged it will be the best comedy of the year. The trailer came out earlier this summer, and now Kate Hudson released a new clip on Instagram. Murray and Glazer cowrote the movie, due out October 23rd.
The film stars Murray along with Bruce Willis, Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride, Kate Hudson and features what sounds like a pretty spectacular soundtrack with songs from Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Leon Russell, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Steven Stills, Neil Young and Harry Nilsson.
Murray plays an aging music manager who takes his last client on a USO tour in Afghanistan. The film was shot on location in Morocco, Barry Levinson directs.
Recently Murry and Glazer appeared at San Diego Comic Con to promote the movie. “It’s not out yet,” Murray told the crowd. “I’ve seen it. It’s really good. I would not be appearing in public if I didn’t think it was really good.”
