Animated series Cassius and Clay will join the FXX family, Deadline reports. FXX announced Friday that they will pick up the series which stars Always Sunny’s Kaitlin Olsen, Lake Bell, and Susan Sarandon.

Set in a post apocalyptic future American town of Wilke, it’s part Thelma and Louise, part Butch Cassidy. Sarandon plays the barkeep and owner of a retro-future saloon and brothel, and Bell and Olsen’s characters are a pair of troublemakers in a stationwagon. J.B. Smoove will voice the town’s doctor, Jeffrey Tambor is the mayor, and Katy Mixon and Stephen Root also provide voices for the series.

“Tearing through the Smoky Mountains, Cassius and Clay don’t just survive the end of the world – they thrive on it with a pack of misfits who persevere against all odds in this Southern-fried apocalypse,” said FX Networks/Productions original programming president Nick Grad in a statement. “Our thanks to Adam and Megan for creating this hilarious and twisted tale and to Kaitlin, Lake, Susan and the rest of the voice cast for bringing these characters to life in all their damaged glory.”

The series comes from Adam Reed, who created Archer and Modern Family’s Megan Ganz.

Cassius and Clay will premiere in 2016.
