Judd Apatow Says There Will be a Trainwreck Documentary

Trainwreck documentary

Last night on Conan Judd Apatow talked about what it was like directing a living sports legend, Lebron James, who costars in his upcoming movie, Trainwreck.  Yep, Apatow still holds on to a childhood resentment of athletic people, (a remnant from his childhood when he did not excel at athletics) which made him really enjoy having power over Lebron, who he referred to as ‘the babe ruth of basketball.’

But, he says, Lebron is genuinely hilarious in the movie.  Must be Apatow’s outstanding directorial technique.  He played a clip that showed him directing Lebron, which he said was for a documentary about the movie.   Trainwreck itself opens July 17, and Team Apatow is just wrapping an 8 day tour of the country which raised money for several charities.  No word on when the documentary will be released, but at least for now you can watch this clip and get a glimpse into Judd’s World.
