Jon Stewart stepped in after learning that two stray goats were running around the subway system in Brooklyn, which by the way isn’t a good place for goats to play. The former Daily Show host is pretty tight with animal rescue organization Farm Sanctuary, and not only arranged for the organization to come rescue the pair of goats, he was also on hand to help ease them into the transport vehicle. Yep he’s a goat herder.
Stewart and his wife own Bufflehead Farm in New Jersey and work with the rescue organization regularly.
Remember when he saved a runaway bull on April Fools Day in 2016? Well on the same day Stewart was out goat herding in Brooklyn, comes an update on that Bull he helped rescue in Queens.
Update: Jon Stewart, the 🐐 herder? The former host of the @TheDailyShow, seen on the left, helped get 2 goats to an animal shelter upstate Monday. The goats traveled along the N line tracks in #Brooklyn in the afternoon. It's not clear how they got there. Video: Farm Sanctuary. pic.twitter.com/iUur2H8a6g
