Forget economic inequality, voting rights and colleges taking advantage of their student athletes, John Oliver has something that needs to be addressed and that’s April Fools Day.

In this web exclusive, the HBO host wants everyone to stop the April 1st pranks which he feels are an affront to comedy. John Oliver believes this celebration of juvenile betrayal and deception is something that only a monster would do to his friends and family. That’s why he’s come up with the “No Prank Pledge”.
