It’s the best rant on sugar since Homer Simpsons first put forth his philosophy on greater power through sugar control. Last Night on Last Week Tonight John Oliver addressed the addictive power that this pure white devil has over us all. With Halloween just a few days away, it’s the perfect timing to try to wake us all up. He has a great idea for how to get the information out there– his “show us your peanuts” campaign is just crazy enough to work. But sadly, the lure of a Milky Way is likely to be stronger than all the info Oliver is laying down at your feet. If you’re not going to listen to John’s warnings about sugar, at least cut back on the sexy costumes. Say no to “Sexy John Oliver” and “Sexy Louis CK” this year.
