John Oliver and Colin Quinn Help The NY Port Authority

Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver reported that something’s fishy in New York this week (or last week). According to last night’s episode of Last Week Tonight, the New York Port Authority is furious with with local dish store Fishs Eddy, and threatening legal action–over a dish.. The dinnerware at issue has a silhouette of a New York skyline reproduced on it, which of course, includes elements controlled by the P.A. (ie bridges) and the transportation organization claims they’re concerned about how this dish might affect their reputation and image. Yes, this is the same organization that runs that bus terminal in Times Square– you know the one that smells like piss through and through. The same building with bathrooms so disgusting, and that feel so unsafe, that you can’t even blame homeless for pissing in random places rather than brave the public restrooms.
John Oliver, with some help from Colin Quinn, has a solution. They put together a new line of dinner plates that will more accurately represent the Port Authority. Problem solved!
