Joe Lo Truglio: Brooklyn Nine Nine is Really Fun Until You Set Yourself on Fire
Joe Lo Truglio was hanging on Conan last night talking about working on the hit show Brooklyn Nine Nine. He confirmed for Conan, that yes it really is a fun show to work on, and Joe in particular gets to a lot of fun physical stunts, like crashing through doors. But you can get hooked on wanting to do some of those fun stunts, and maybe it can go a little too far. He almost got to be lit on fire until the suits, in their usual buzzkill way, said no.
Joe may not have gotten to be lit on fire, but he did get to have a fake penis when he was in the movie Wanderlust, and he explained to Conan exactly how that works, to have a fake penis in a movie. Spoiler alert– not nearly as much fun as it sounds. If you’re going to be playing around with a fake penis, try not to do it in a grey Pontiac, in a parking lot in Gainsville Georgia, at an Applebees.
