Joan Rivers’ Final Celebrity Apprentice Appearance Airs Monday
The Celebrity Apprentice will air a segment Joan RIvers had taped where she returned to the show as an adviser for this season’s celebrity contestants before she died last summer.
Donald Trump said he and NBC weren’t sure whether to use it or not. According to E! News, Trump said, “We had a decision to make. Do we leave her or do we not leave her, and we decided to do it in memoriam. I think it’s inspirational, it shows how smart and sharp and incredible she was.” In the past, Joan had credited the Celebrity Apprentice with putting her back in the national spotlight when she won the reality competition show 7 years ago.
The show’s producer Mark Burnett said she, “busted her ass helping other people and feeding hungry people in New York City. She’s a true American.”
Trump added that she was taping segments for the series just three days before she underwent the procedure that cost her life when she passed away last September.
Joan Rivers’ final appearance on the Celebrity Apprentice airs Monday, January 19th at 8pm et on NBC.
