Jo Koy to Tape Unmasked in New York City and You Can Get Tickets
The next guest on SiriusXM’s beloved Unmasked series will be Jo Koy. Koy will be coming to New York City to SiriusXM’s headquarters to tape the hour with host Ron Bennington. The episode will tape on Wednesday, August 9th at 1pm in SiriusXM’s famed Fishbowl studio. Koy will be sitting down with Ron Bennington for an hour in front of a live studio audience and anyone in the New York area can request tickets to be there for this amazing event.
You may have been introduced to Koy when he was a frequent panelist on Chelsea Lately or his regular appearances on The Adam Carolla Show. But more than likely, you know him from his stand up. All of his upcoming shows on the front page of his website are SOLD OUT and with good reason. Koy just released his first hour special in five years on Netflix, and it’s a killer hour. Koy lights up the theater with incredible energy and strong material about his mother, his son and other favorite relatives, but he goes way beyond just talking about his family. It’s one of the best comedy specials out this year, in a year flooded with strong offerings (read more about his last hour here). He’s also going to be hosting a brand new show on Kevin Hart’s new LOL network called “Inglorious Pranksters.” It’s an unscripted series that celebrates the Internet’s best viral pranks.
The Unmasked series documents the careers of the very best comedy writers, directors, filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, satirists, political comedians, comedic musicians and of course, stand up comedians in the business. With over 150 episodes so far, Unmasked is a veritable archive of the greatest comedy of our time.
