Jimmy Fallon Brings Lip Syncing with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart to the Tonight Show
Last night on a special live post Super Bowl episode of the Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon the ringmaster general of silly games and shenanigans with celebrities hosted a lip sync battle against his guests Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. These guys took this battle seriously– particularly Fallon who was sweating so much, he had to ask for a towel at one point, and ripped his pants at the knees during one ‘performance’. If there’s ever been a comedian who wished he was a singer– Fallon is that guy.
Will Ferrell, who was sporting a Seahawks hoodie, opened with Beyonce’s “Drunk In Love”, followed by Jimmy Fallon doing a rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” and Kevin Hart serenaded Will Ferrell with “All Of Me”. For the second round, Ferrell went to the “Frozen” soundtrack, Fallon pulled out some “Dirty Dancing”. And Kevin Hart went with Katy Perry. There were no winners here.
Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart were part of Fallon’s Super Bowl Tonight Show from Phoenix to promote their new comedy “Get Hard” due out next month on March 27th.
The biggest surprise of the night is that the NFL let him get away with calling this the “Super Bowl of Lip Sync Battles.” Come on NFL lawyers, you’re slacking.
