Page Six is reporting that James Kent is suing the Gaffigan family after he got hit in the head by an errant soccer ball kicked by Gaffigan’s daughter, Marre.
Mr. Kent claims he was severely injured in 2016 when Marre was 11 and kicking a soccer ball around on set of a shoot for a TV commercial for Chrysler in Montclair, New Jersey. Kent says that Gaffigan was negligent in supervising his daughter that day, and says he has been unable to work since taking the ball to the head. He also is suing the director of the shoot and the production company for damages.
The lawsuit was filed in Queens Supreme Court on September 17, seeking unspecified damages.
