Jesus, Mary And Joseph…Stalin!?

12 year old Ilya Gavrichenko finally got his big break in his St. Petersburg, Russia school’s Christmas production of the Nativity. He got the part of Joseph, Jesus’ other dad. Unfortunately, he misunderstood and told his parents he landed the role of Joseph Stalin. They scrambled to get him a costume of the mass murderer complete with a Stalin mustache. When he showed up for the performance, there was no time for a costume change or recasting. Reportedly, every time he walked on stage, the other mothers were in hysterics. He’s hoping to land a part in next semester’s musical production, “A Salute to the Beatles: The Songs of Vladimir Lenin and McCartney”.
