Jay-Z Is Losing A Million A Week By Snubbing Spotify
Jay-Z released his 4:44 album nearly everywhere, except Spotify, the number 1 streaming platform. A calculation based on an analysis of likely payouts to other prominent artists in the initial weeks following an anticipated new album release has shown that Jay-Z could be losing close to $1 million a week. Tidal is basically Jay-Z’s version of the Microsoft Zune, he won’t give up on it, but at one point, it will just fade into obscurity.
