This is an exclusive! Comedy Dynamics has let us know they are releasing Jay Mohr’s first special since his groundbreaking 2015 hour.
Jay Mohr: American Treasure, will premiere on July 21st, 2020 and it’s packed with extremely personal stories from his life and loaded up with his infamous celebrity impressions. And Mohr is confident that his latest is one of the best of the year. We don’t doubt it.
Mohr chose Comedy Dynamics to release the special after 25 years of collaboration with CD founder Brian Volk-Weiss. “It’s an honor to give Comedy Dynamics American Treasure knowing it will kick the shit out of any other “special” out there. Audiences have been conditioned to settle for pretty good, but American Treasure is what a stand up special should be, the best!” said Jay Mohr.
Jay Mohr is an Emmy Award nominated actor, writer, producer and comedian known for Saturday Night Live, Jerry Maguire, Go, Suicide Kings, mall Soldiers, Picture Perfect, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Last Comic Standing and more. Mohr hosts a podcast called Mohr Stories through his own network, Fake Mustache Studios. Since 2004, Mohr has release 2 books, Gasping for Airtime: Two Years in the Trenches of Saturday Night Live and No Wonder My Parents Drank: Tales from a Stand-Up Dad. Mohr’s comedy album, Happy. And A Lot was nominated for Best Comedy Album at the 58th Grammy Awards, and won album of the year here on The Interrobang.
