Jay Leno Returns To The Tonight Show
Jay Leno returned to the Tonight Show for the first time since he signed off as host back in February. He came back to his original Tonight Show roots by doing stand up. Or was this a really a monologue in disguise? He talked about the movie “Gravity”, World Cup and the Lawrence Taylor sexual assault accusations. These may have been some jokes that he had saved up. Then the big moment came. Would this stand up comedian get called over to the Tonight Show couch after his set?? This could be a make it or break it moment in his career.
Once they were on the couch, Jimmy Fallon asked his predecessor how he was doing? Oddly, that question never did qet answered. The very casual no-tie Leno also mocked out Jimmy’s lack of motorcycle knowledge and Jimmy apologized after doing a very quick Leno impression. He should have Leno back on soon.
