At Lumière Film Festival on Monday, Javier Bardem says he would still work with Woody Allen on a days notice. According to Page Six, He called Allen a “genius” and said that questioned the wisdom of making choices solely based on an accusation.
“Today, 11 years later, it is the same accusation. Public accusations are very dangerous. If someday there is a trial and it’s proven to be true, I would change my opinion, but at this moment, nothing has changed.” The audience responded with loud applause according to reports.
Bardem starred in Woody’s 2008 film Vicky Christy Barcelona.
