Did James Franco and Seth Rogen Cause Sony Hacking!?

One of the few comedies yet to come out in 2014, and highly anticipated one at that, is The Interview, starring James Franco and Seth Rogen, Directed by Rogen and Evan Goldberg. But the movie’s premise, the assassination of Kim Jong-un, has been causing concern since it was announced, with fears of retaliation by the dictator. Now, according to The Wrap, there is concern that computer hacking of Sony last week was a warning sign over the release.
The emails and computer systems were hit last week, causing serious trouble for the corporation. Then over the weekend, major films yet to, or still in theaters, were released online…including Fury, Annie, and Oscar hopeful, Still Alice. Not included in the piracy was, The Interview, leading news outlets to believe the hacking was a warning signal against the distributor. It is a growing theory, especially after group called Guardians of Peace took credit for the hacking.
All this comes after North Korea’s U.N. Ambassador Ja Song Nam, wrote a letter to the UN claiming the US was sponsoring terrorism by allowing the film to be released.
