Is Hollywood Getting Less Creative or Are Audiences Just Duller?

Short of the Week created an infographic claiming to show that Hollywood has gotten a lot less creative since 1991. It shows the top grossing films of 1981, 1991, 2001, and 2011 to show original films in the top 10 have taken a bit of a slide. But does this graphic prove Hollywood is less creative or is it the audiences to blame? It’s not up to Hollywood which films make the top 10.
