Iliza Shlesinger Will Guest on Unmasked
Iliza Shlesinger will be the next guest on SiriusXM’s critically acclaimed Unmasked series in New York City. Shlesinger will be coming to SiriusXM’s headquarters in New York City to tape the hour with host Ron Bennington in front of a live audience. The episode will tape on Tuesday, November 7th at 4:30pm at the Sirius XM Studios in their famed Fishbowl.
Iliza will be talking about her new book, Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity. Originally from Dallas, Iliza is a Los Angeles comedian who became well known after becoming the first (and still only) woman to win Last Comic Standing. Her debut comedy special War Paint also became one of the Top selling albums in 2013. Her follow up Netflix specials, Freezing Hot and Confirmed Kills, have made her one of the best selling touring acts in the country. Freeform (formerly ABC Family) recently partnered with Iliza to develop her own late night series – a lifelong goal of hers. Additionally, her digital scripted series, Forever 31 is currently streaming on ABCd and Hulu and has already been picked up for a second season. Iliza’s stand-up credentials also include headlining the coveted Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and The New York Comedy Festival. As a national headliner, Iliza tours year-round selling out theatres, clubs and colleges. She also participated in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s personal USO Tour throughout the Middle East and Europe, as well as Al Roker’s Today Show USO Tour in Afghanistan, with Jay Leno and Craig Robinson.
