How Pop TV Gets Away With a Show Named Schitt’s Creek
Eugene Levy was on The Tonight Show last night and explained how he convinced the network to let him use the words Schitt’s Creek as the title of his show. The quick answer is, it’s a real German name, and turns out that if you can prove that, using phone book pages and such, the tv people will relent. They’ll even let you name one of the characters in the Schitt family “Roland.”
