Heckler Kicked Out of LA’s Comedy Store Challenges Club, Pisses Off the Iron Sheik

Friday night, a Twitter user by the name of @FitzDrum sent out a series of angry tweets directed at one of Los Angeles’ most beloved comedy clubs, The Comedy Store.
In the tweets, FitzDrum openly admits to heckling comics on stage at the club, though he claims it wasn’t heckling, just making “a couple of comments that really upset the ‘comedians,’” which is also known as heckling. The not-so-modest heckler states that he was removed from the club by the bouncers there, then goes on to challenge the club to give him time on stage. “I will go on stage RIGHT NOW and AD-LIB a set funnier than any scheduled performer. If the audience doesn’t agree that I am the funniest, I’ll pay for everyone’s drinks. Your move @TheComedyStore!”
The Comedy Store captured all of the tweets in a post on Instagram, along with a post telling future comedy show attendees not to heckle. “Not every comic is as great as Dave Chappelle, Louis C,K. or Bill Burr, but believe me when I say we all are striving to be. Don’t interrupt the process, enjoy it.” You can see the post below.
The cool night air must have knocked some sense into FitzDrum, because he deleted the tweets in question and rescinded his bold challenge a few hours after posting it. If only he’d had that sudden flash of common sense when he was sitting in the club.
Later, the Iron Sheik had some angry words for the heckler.
Threatened by @the_ironsheik. That's awesome!! I was always a big fan of the Sheik. Best thing to come out of last night's fiasco. pic.twitter.com/dL3HlnFxLN
