Greer Barnes Performs Stand Up on the Late Show
Ever since we put out our Late Night Stand Up Report Card, Stephen Colbert’s Late Show has really upped their game with giving a spotlight to stand up comedy – not only having frequent stand up performances, but demonstrating a great eye selecting stand up comedians. Last night Colbert gave the stage to New York’s own Greer Barnes.

Greer somehow managed to pull off doing an entire set with essentially one joke. And it was a fucking great joke. Barnes talk about why a black man walking behind a white woman is a terrifying proposition– for the black man– and might start a new epidemic of petty thefts with his observations. Watch the clip below, and then go check out Greer Barnes live in New York City where he always kills on stage at The Comedy Cellar. Follow him @greerbarnes1 and you can grab his album, “See What I’m Saying” wherever albums are sold.
