The Great Chicago Salt Avalanche of ’14 Buries Cars

Structural roof damage caused the Morton Salt plant in Chicago to spring a leak on to the car dealership next door. It buried cars at the dealership in mountains of salt. And it caused Morton’s to alter its slogan to “When it rains, it pours…all over your new Acura”.
