Gilbert Gottfried’s Got the Straight Dope on the Rules of Comedy

Gilbert Gottfried, who also goes by the street name “Jewy Spice” was a guest on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert Tuesday night. After coming out to an odd choice of a walk-on tune, Gottfried set down a very simple proposal for the rules of comedy.
“I feel like jokes should come with a set of instructions,” he said. “If you think it’s funny, laugh. If you don’t think it’s funny, don’t laugh.”
He also laid down some thoughts about Trump.
