In an open letter response to Peter Thiel’s remarks that he funded Hulk Hogan’s defense against Gawker as a revenge, Gawker founder Nick Denton wrote that he found Thiel’s actions to be vindictive, twisted, and referred to Thiel as a “thinned skinned billionaire.” It’s amazing how one thinned skinned billionaire can use his money to help create a thick skinned billionaire. That’s not to say Hogan is tough, it’s mostly from sun damage.
