Garry Shandling, a Comedy Legend Has Died

TMZ is reporting that comedy icon Garry Shandling has passed away.
There are few details available, only a report that Shandling was well this morning, and a 911 call was placed from his own this afternoon. Sources are saying he suffered a massive heart attack. Shandling was and remains a legend in the comedy world, from the It’s Garry Shandling’s Show to the Larry Sanders Show and beyond. He was also known for his many times guesting and hosting on the Tonight Show. One of the most respected comedians in the world, there is no shortlist of comedic genius that his name wouldn’t be on. Both of his shows gave birth to entire genres of comedy programming.
We’ll post more thoughts on his incredible career and talent later tonight.
He was 66.
